Radioman Blogで見つけた自作のパドル。だいぶ昔にアメリカの73誌に製作記事が紹介されていた様子です。インターネットで調べても記事の詳細は不明です。それにしても、垂れたウサギの耳型のレバー、少しずれているコンタクトは好感がもてます。タッチはどうでしょうか、興味のあるところです。

　RigPixのHomebrewで見つけたSM0XPJ Jonusさんの自作パドルです。木製のフィンガーピース、台座に、シンプルな作りのレバー支点と工夫されています。色合いも渋くまとまっています。

　US-CQにCW, Key, QRPについて連載していたK4TWJ, DaveさんがSKとなりました。この10年いつもコラムを楽しみにしていただけに非常に残念です。コラム記事を参考に米国のクラブキット、QRPリグを購入したり、Key, Paddleの紹介には大変な刺激と影響を受けていました。Daveさんのご冥福をお祈りします。

Dave Ingram, K4TWJ's passing

It is with great sadness I let you know that Dave passed away Wednesday morning, January 20. Amateur Radio is certainly going to miss his enthusiasm and his wonderful and enduring love for ham radio. He loved to tell the world about ham radio and anybody could join in with little money to invest...or a lot. My thanks go out to each and everyone of you who have sent special Get Well Wishes and prayers for Dave. He was in God's hands and I know that somewhere up there he is going to be using ham radio and CW...he has a key with him on his journey. Maybe he will meet all of you someday in God's great land! 73, 88 and may God be with you all.

　自作キー、パドルをインタネットで探していたら、OMのパドルを発見しました。スプーン付きパドルにびっくりして、BLOGを訪問しましら、どうしてこのような形に良く分かりました。
